Damn straight, Ty.

I'm a fairly senior CA at airtran, and I'm putting up with exactly ONE more chance at talking.

Time's up.

Either give us what we want (which ain't much) or we CHAOS/strike. It really is that simple.

I'm just really tired of the B*llshiat

I'm not worried about your scabs, I just asked a question. You are the one with your panties all twisted.

Anytime someone brings up the ValuJet name, they're not just trying to ask a simple question.

Eaglesview, it is a relative point. If these guys were to try and strike/chaos is it would cripple the union due to line crossers. They try and hire folks who would be wiling to scab. A friend of mine was asked point blank if he would scab during the interview. His response......" NO WAY!" After his response, the interview team was very cold to him and he was lucky enough to not get the job.:laugh::laugh:

Hey, Eagleview:

The panties in question belong to your wife, and they're "all twisted" up under the passenger seat of one of our EAL scab's "airport car". . . .

What? Oh, sorry . . . I've just been informed that her panties are turning up under the seats in nearly all of the EAL scab's cars.

HMMM………What does a post like that say about the maturity level of a “TRANNY?”

I got to throw the BS flag on this one.

PCL, I am ex Eastern and am aware of how many of our scabs were at Valujet. With that in mind I asked the question to see if post 84 has any merit. If your number of 20 is accurate that bodes well for Air Tran pilots. After post 98 I realize the whole train of thought is invalid. We disagree on a few things like ALPA, NIC ect, but in this case I was just fishing for info. With that in mind I hope most of your pilots have more class than the author of post 99

Current scab count at AAI or even CAL is not the real problem anymore. The problem lies in the number of guys that flew under these scabs that were nurtured by them. Therefore thinking along very similar lines as scabs. Not necessarily to cross picket lines, but rather not having a spine to stand up for their careers. It doesn't make them bad human beings. They just happened to learn from the best at how not stand up for what you're worth.

Like or not, these are the guys that you see drinking the kool aid and not wanting to rock the boat. It's a hard group to deal with because they are terrified at the notion of upsetting the company and the reprecautions that might come with it. This group needs to be targeted for education by the MECs. It's sad but they need reassurance from Union leadership that the actions needed will indeed benefit everyone, including themselves. Afterall, they have been bred to believe to just take what you're given no questions asked. This is the group that management targets the most.

The good news is that both AAI and CAL have lots of new blood on property that can make a positive impanct on negotiations. Not all are perfect, but most will stand up for their rights. New bloods are tired of having to pack lunches for the road because of lack of monetary resources.

The strike word at Airtran can not even be used right now!

Holy crap whose side are you on? I am more than willing to strike for higher FO pay and better work rules. Have some pride in your job and your profession. You worked hard to get to this point. You and I are worth more than what they are willing to give. Why is that so hard to understand?

PCL128 is just another username for Ty Webb. It's pure flamebait.:laugh:

Sorry, Uppercrud .. . . . there's only one Ty Webb, and he only has one screen name. . . .

Thanks for playing, though . . . . [theme from Hollywood Squares- original] . . . .
