pilotyip said:There have been many posts here that pilots have said the contacts at Air Inc resulted in interviews and job offers. The mentality of not paying Kit any money because I am pilot and I should not have to pay for this, is probably the same guy who does not want to pay Cheryl Cage for interview prep, and then find themselves not getting hired. Those who think Kit is a rip off, they should not attend, but it is not their place to judge anyone if they elect to go
Well said and I agree with you, it is not my place to judge wether another pilot should go or not. However, I can present opinion/facts in order to help that pilot make a decsion. So here they are:
Opinion: I attended the seminar to help out a previous employer. This was back in 2001. I was a pilot at that time but not a commercial pilot and I was not employed as a pilot by the airline I was helping. In my opinion, I did not see any benefit to the pilots that talked to the CP of the airline I was working for.
Facts: I joined Air Inc in September in order to prepare for an interiview I had with AWAC. I did so in order to listen to the taped interivew. It turned out the information presented by Air Inc was inaccurate. Instead, the information I obtained from aviationinterviews were right on.
There are many other inaccuracies that are not of significance but makes me question how thoughrough they are about the information they present to us. For example I just received an e-mail from them saying that several airlines will be conducting on the spot interviews in DFW. They list AWAC as having 70 CRJ 14 BAe146 and bases in DEN, ORD, IAD, . . . Not true, by Feb 2006, AWAC will have completed the transition to US with different crew bases and all BAe146 phased out . . . other inaccuracies about Comair . . . Expressjet in the article they just published last month and so on and so on . . .
