Any of you coroporate guys out there have any idea what the going rate is on a good scrub down for a King Air 200? It is mostly just outside stuff that is really dirty and carpet cleaning on the inside. Anyone that has actually cleaned a Be200 for $$$ what did you charge?
Bring her down to BTR and i will take care of her! If im not on a trip i could clean her out for free! other then flying in them i liek to take care of the outsides. I should have a bit of free time saturday or sunday. Washdown included. ! Take Care

It was very nice of you to offer to wash the King Air for free, but keep in mind that by undercutting someone like that actually takes food off of his table. Our industry demands fair pay for professional work in every aspect, i.e., charging adequately for flight instruction, pilot services, entry-level right seat positions, even washing airplanes. If everyone offered to do work for free, then the value of our services as pilots would be worthless. Imagine trying to make a living teaching people how to fly when the guy next door says he'll do it for free. It's tough.
I understand your enthusiasm about aviation, I was once the same way (maybe I still am). But you'll love it better if it puts cash in your pocket.
Piedmont-Hawthorne at ORF charges $275 for a wash, gear-de/regreasing and boot treatment. It would probably take me close to 5 hours to do as good a job as they do. I usually just get a good wash job thrown in when I go in for our 100 hour inspection (not at Piedmont).
Yep i hear ya , no i was just makin a nice friendly offer! Down here at louisiana aircraft we wash em ourselves. ( we try to ) lol! Take Care all!
