Can anyone out there give me an MEL Maintenance Procedure for Item 21-3 (Bleed Air Shutoff Valves) and 21-4 (Safety Valve). I have the Master MEL, but need the actual procedure used. If someone has access to their MEL for a Kingair C90, please help!!! Thank you.

Check your PMs. If anyone else has references to BE-200 MELs, there are a few O & M procedures we need to clean up our MEL.

BE-B200 MEL

I need MEL O & M Procedures for a BE-B200. I know some are pretty straightforward. Looking for the appropriate language to use. And does an MEL maintenance procedure necessarily mean an A&P has to do the procedure with his sigh-off or can the PIC be trained to do it and sign-off? Seems some (M)s can actually be considered an (O) as far as what is actually done. Any references for these would be greatly appreciated. Have asked a Raytheon Maint. shop and all they could give me was a BE-350 MEL for reference. We are keeping with the FAA format MMEL rev. 12 for BE-200.

25-2-1: (Pax seat-recline) Maint. proc. to secure seat in upright position
28-8: (Fuel flow indicators) Maint. proc. to verify no fuel leaks & both fuel quantity systems are operative.
28-9: (Engine driven low press. fuel boost pump) Operational proc. to ensure Standby Electric Boost Pump is turned on and is operative. Verify normal flow. (not sure of the engine start considerations)
30-10-1: (Engine Ice Vane actuator motors) Maint. proc. to manually extend & secure the vanes in fully extended position.
32-5: (Hyd. fluid low annunciator) Maint. Proc. to verify proper hyd. fluid level prior to first flight.
35-2: (External O2 gauge) Maint. proc. to ensure a crew member is stationed inside to monitorthe internal O2 gauge. (seams like I could just repeat this).
35-3: (Pax O2 mask) Maint. proc. to block and placard affected seat & block flow from inop mask.

I'll see what I can dig up on procedures. PM me with a fax number if you have one available (it'll be easier for me than typing).

(M) procedures must remain (M) Procedures, but we have a section in our Opeations Manual to provide guidance for flight crews so they can (legally) pull and collar a circuit breaker and placard equipment if included in an (M) Procedure. Its in the Operations Manual so we have a documented procedure. You also add this info as a section of the mEL iteself.
An A&P does not have to accomplish the work, but most times a "qualified maintenance techinican" does. This is how we have it worded in our MEL.
