Hi all,

Can anyone tell me a good web source for the official type designation abbreviations for aircraft. I'm updating my resume and summarizing my logbook. For example: Is a King Air 200 a BE20 or a BE-200. Instructors have entered it in my logbook both ways. What about a Citation CJ1 - CE525? I called the local FSDO and they were useless.

Thanks in advance!

CJ1 abbreviation is CE525 ( that is the designation for the type on my ATP certificate) so you can use that for logbooks. Flight Service stations seem to prefer C525 for filing flight plans.
