I haven't been on the 700 for awhile... Will it get out of Key West with a full boat + jumpseat? Looking at going this weekend to meet a Navy friend. It's looking like the only way to get out will be on the jumpseat of a 700 or an A319. The weather looks good so lets assume no alternate.

Better hope the winds are 270 @ 20 and a cold front pulls in.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks.

It literally depends on which 700 is being used and which runway is being used. For a 700 with no weight penalties you can go out of there with 65 folks and 120 bags on runway 9. If the plane has some MEL induced weight penalties, it'll be something like 62 pax and 70 bags and 27 has the more limiting max weight number.

Edit, ASA's 700 now have 65 seats so you'd make it out on a good plane going east with no alternates in ATL...

The Justice planes have been going down there lately, all with 70 seats of coach.

Ahhhh yes. Forgot about that fact.

Navy friend? Sounds like you guys are going to dress up like the Village people and head down to Duvall Street. jk
