For those of you using a PDA to keep your times, which program do you use. I have been trying to find one but most are for the Palm OS. I have a pocket pc and i am having a hard time finding a good program. Any suggestions?

Flight Level makes a windows compatible version for the pocket pc. I haven't had any problems with the program, just my pda.

airline pilots daily aviation logbook

by far i believe its one of the most widely used and best program (of the ones i've seen) for 121 ops.
I've been using it for over 2 years now and it's excellent, trip importing features, monthly schedule views, exports to the palm datebook (which you can then cross export to a yahoo online calendar for others like friends/family/etc to view)

you can find it at

airline logbook software

you won't be disapointed, you even get like a 90 trial period to use it, well worth the money.

Perhaps I'm stating the obvious, but I believe there may be a link or two on your screen at this very moment to a program called Logbook Pro. (Look at the top of this column, and near the top of the column on your left.) It's advertised for Palm AND Pocket PC.

OK, OK. If that's too much trouble, try this link:

Logbook Pro

:) :) :) :) :)

Dash 8,

The airline pilots daily logbook found at www.airlinelogbook.net is, at least at this point, only available for Palm OS. While this is definitely the best stand alone PDA logbook available, the original poster was looking for something that is Pocket PC compatible. I think airlinelogbook is working on a Pocket PC version, it's just not available yet.

d328pilot,

The electronic logbook that I use (AeroLog Pro) has a Pocket PC companion, which allows you to log your daily times on your Pocket PC, then sync it to your computer and upload everything into your electronic logbook. I have had this program for years and am very happy with it. Here is a link to their website:

okay okay, what about us Mac users?

Anything for Max OSX? Specifically an electronic logbook program for my computer, not PDA.

Thanks ahead of time for any pointers.

any of those PDA programs have the capability to calculate certain occasions when you have trip guarentees, premium pay, etc?

i would like the ability to better track if payroll is counting all my credit hours.

To build on a great thread, are there any FREE Electronic Logbook programs? I have an Excel document I made that is exactly the same as the Jepp logbook. I have it automatically tally all my hours, but something that you can search through, etc would be great.

Thanks!

With most of the FBO's having internet access these days. I would throw out a plug for www.logshare.com it is a free online logbook that tracks anything and everything you need. It gives you 8710 data and has an export feature so you can import your entries into another logbook or excel spread sheet for a backup.
