Thanks guys.. and....

Just three more questions...

Is ATL5.ATL only SID at KATL?

That's only one I could find.

And if ATC utilizes ATL5.ATL, which transition am I going to use if my destination is MLB?

It seems like either SOONE or SOTWO, but i'm not so sure about it.

And the last question is about BWI.

Which SID and transition will be utilized for flights heading South?(KATL)

You'll probably get one of the SOUTH (SOONE or SOTWO) Departures. There is a Jepp page (don't know number) depicting the radials off the ATL VOR, but you'll just get an initial heading from the tower. I have rarely heard anybody given direct to SOONE or SOTWO from ATL Departure.

BWI will be the MACEY Arrival and probably an EAST (EAONE or EATWO) Departure. Don't sweat it, ATL is a very easy airport to get in and out of.

On arrival into ATL, be sure to ask for a wind check from the tower. :p ;) :D

thanks....

I'm just looking at NOS charts of BWI and ATL and they are pain in the rear....compare to Jepp charts!

Well......if you are getting your "pvt this summer", of course this is going to look like a pain in the *ss to you. Are you planning a cross country on MS flight Sim?

One must have the utmost in realism when flying a cross country on flight sim. Use this:

BWI..FLUKY.DCA246.PAUKI..MOL.MACEY2.ATL

And going back up to BWI:

ATL..EAONE..SPA.J14.RIC.OTT6.BWI

For flights going south from ATL:

To MIA,
ATL..SOONE..WALET..FAGAN..TEPEE..DEEDS..WORPP.CYY3.MIA
To JAX,
ATL..SOONE..MCN..AMG.AMG1.JAX
To MCO,
ATL..SOONE.J89.OTK.LEESE1.MCO
To PBI,
ATL..SOONE.J89.HITTR.J91.INPIN.J85.LLAKE.LLAKE3.PBI
To PNS,
ATL..SOTWO..CSG..EUF..RRS.V241.PENSI..PNS

Nah...

I said 'Compare to Jepp charts'. I can understand and use Jepp charts without any problem.... Only NOS charts cause me headache;) .
