he said it would be in the afternoon. I am getting a call today from someone to set that up.

Let us know how it goes.

Personally, I think the type of flying Kalitta does would be great. Flying a 747 worldwide - not your typical 121 flying. That being said, the time away from home would take a little getting used to... At least those 747s have nice EFIS - I don't know how to read maps anymore.

Interview is really laid back. Don't drink the kool aid though, they're sure to be servin the stuff up from the moment you step in the building. Not a bad job though if you can put up with a lot of B.S. and can handle the 17 days out (up to 34 if you're junior and get a back to back). Has it's ups and downs. I just did a 4 day layover in Honolulu with a couple of good fellas and we jumped over to Kauai for a night and did an ATV tour of the island. That kind of stuff makes the job a little more bearable. I have to caution all possible candadites though, lots of crap going on with negotiations right now and the union is looking to get the pilot group released for self help. Might not be the best place to be a probie in the coming months. Best of luck to you gents with the interview and your decisions.

Is that code for strike?

Could you please elaborate on the current mood. I'm looking at going there in the near future. What does your crystal ball say?
