Laptop

If you guys have laptops, bring them with you. They will be very useful, as lots of the training aids (AOM, FMS Trainer, W&B program) are available on CD-Rom.

Hotels

A few guys are staying at the Hampton Inn in Belleville. One is at the Red Roof. A bunch are staying at the Candlewood Suites off I-94 in Ann Arbor.

In each groups, there was one or two people with a car. The Hampton Inn *might* have a shuttle, but there are people with car. Important for lunch or to do other stuff.

One guy is staying in a crash pad near DTW, for about 20% of what everyone else is paying in a hotel. If you have friends at NWA or Airlink, have them look for you in DTW.

Like nosewheel said, Betty will give more information if you need it.

The Red Roof is okay.

There is a real estate office in Belleville on the main drag about 3/4 up the street on the left hand side (North side) a block before the drive in (A&W or Sonic?) that is owned by a couple. They have a number of properties including a house right next to their office. They might have a pad for rent.

It's vague, but it may help.

Red Roof

I know the Red Roof will do two to a room for $39.99 per nigth. plus tax. A good place to start out at while shopping for a crash pad. We may even have crash pad opening among our crewmembers right now. We don't go to the "Wedge" as a group until after graduation from Basic Indoc. Guys have too much homework. Chuck and Tony have left the bldg.
