The sim is now in YIP, so you will be responsible for room and board for the entire time there.

Actually, you're on your own during initial GS. When you return for sim, KA picks up the lodging.

Okay, so if you have to put yourself up where do you guys shack up at for cheap at YIP?

There are several crashpads around the area.
 
If you get the job: Kalitta will will give you some info on extended stay deals in the area. A few of us stayed at the Red Roof Inn and it was OK ,the place was just redone but that was 3yrs ago. Good luck.
 
Are their any trips from the US across the ponds, or do they fly you to Europe and all the trips start there?
No, we serve JFK/EWR/LAX/ANC/ORD/LCK regularly, so that is where they fly you to to start your trip.
