Any Kalitta pilots that are also Reserve pilots out there?

I'm curious how Kalitta is when you ask for 'military leave' so you can fly your reserve commitments back at your squadron.

Most airlines are cool with you going to them in advance and telling them you are needing 'time off' to fly with your reserve unit.

Any problems with that at Kalitta?

Thanks for the replies......

DRVR,

I don't know any of the pilots who are also Reservists . . . I do know several PFEs who are Reservists. I don't think they have any problems, but to be sure they would need to pipe up. We bid 10-20 of the month, and normally get the bid results on the 22. For example, we have to turn in our bids NLT 20 Jun, and on 22 June, we'll find out what we're doing in July. The only stipulation is that if you are a Reservist, you are supposed to bid so you can give the company its due (17 days) and then go take care of your Reserve duty.

Probably not much help, but we do try . . .
'Props

DRVR,

Thanks....yeah I hope if there is anyone that is a Reservist on th pilot side, that would be great. I think there's one in training right now that I met when I was in Miami....forgot his name though.

Any help would be appreciative.
