Did u do the ACPP or the Total CFI Program with ATP???

No, I did do the 10 hour commercial and 15 hour CFII/MEI course. It helped that I have 657 hours total and 91 multi time though.

Do you know where they are going to send you yet?

I have not the slightest clue as to where they are going to send me. I figure they will tell me after I finish class. I suspect though with my experience in the Balto/Wash ADIZ airspace that I likely will end up in Manassas, Va.

Don't get your hopes up too high. You will spend plenty of time answering the phones and waiting for an instructor position to open up. And since you didn't go through their student program, you will most likely get a spot exclusively training non-program students such as yourself.

It may take awhile to get out and instruct again, but it will be worth it when you start logging close to 7 hours of multi per day. Students are handed to you, and you get a salary, so you know what your pay will be like every month too.

It's a nice deal as far as instructing goes.

I figured that as well stifler. I have heard from others in the past that you typically will have to spend some time in admin answereing phones and such until a spot opens. I am fully prepared to do just that. I am also willing to go whereever they send me. This should be a good gig.

It is about as good as an instructing job you can get. Tons of multi time to be had, and most of it will be doing approaches, holds and single engine stuff. All of this will make your next step to an airline all that much easier.

Good luck.
