Does your airline junior man its' dispatchers?
If so, what airline and what are the rules involved?

Have fun and don't dispatch a flight without a pilot and his iPhone.:D

Seniority has alot to do with it, but I'm not sure what you're asking. Can you be a little more specific?

I'm guessing that he means if anyone gets jr assigned to open shifts when they aren't voluntarily taken.

Not here at OO. If you want a vacation day and no one will pick it up, you dont get the day off. (NEVER been a problem, we have a great scheduler who can get you the day off with little notice. Plus there is always someone looking for the O.T.)

I used to work for ZW and they did it all the time.....I thought it was b.s.!!!

Gnerally, if there are open shifts to fill after everyone gets the OT their looking for, they will be JRA based on seniority.

Each outfit has its on way of doing this

ha, old larry.....now there's a piece of work!!!! glad I am not under his iron fist anymore....he's a frikin' moron!!!!

YES....our TWU contract allows it (in the interest of the company!) :pimp:

Oh

I think OH tried, but failed, to work in a junior man plan, Stan.

Straight time for extra days worked, or a pay back day off.

Could be wrong though.
