Heys guys and girls,

I bought my wife a positive space ticket to St Thomas from Detroit for the end of April to go to a friends wedding. I'm with JB so I am trying to avoid buying a ticket for myself. Does anybody know if Spirit will allow me into the Jumpseat for this particuliar flight? I'm not sure if it's considered international orhow it all works out. I know Delta allows Nonrev but the Jumpseat is unavailable. I will buy a ticket if I have too but am curious to get some info before I do.

Thanks

International flights, you can jumpseat but only if a seat is available in the cabin. If it's a 319 (most probably), there is a cabin jumpseat as well that you can use. You will have to pay the taxes. Even though you clear custom in STT, I think it is still considered international. To list, call 1-866-609-8858 and they will let you know.
Good luck.

Guys, St. Thomas, USVI. Thats a U.S. possesion, you can ride up front and no taxes. You don't even need a passport. I still will never understand how some people on here even graduate high school.

They'll give you a ride, but make sure you get there early. It's been my experience on Spirit in FLL to wait at line at the gate, only to be turned away and sent to the service counter, as the gate age nt does not have the horsepower/desire to do the jumpseat authorization. Some agents will try to charge you the taxes, this too is not required. It will really help if you can speak to the Captain if you're having any problems, it's a great group of guys over there. The agents will have no qualms about leaving you behind if it's getting close to departure time, they are always shorthanded at the gate. Customs will be coming back, not going down and leaving from STT is a whole lot easier, for some reason. Some of the girls at the counter there are kinda big, and you'll get a lot-o-mileage with a few Hershey's or Snickers bars. (like the Big Front Seat, as they call it)
