Any of you guys have some good advice on how to best do this? I know you have to list yourself ahead of time with reservations, but everytime I call I get put on hold for 30 minutes. The whole time the poor agent is always just trying to figure out how to put me in the computer. Anyone now of any key words or shortcuts to tell them that would speed up this process?

I've jumpseated on both AE and AA in the past couple months and I never had to list before hand. I wouldn't even know who to call. I just went to the gate and asked if I could list for the JS. (And sit in the back of course). Worked every time. Good luck.

Call the reservations number and tell them to list you as a D6. That's researved for OAL jumpseaters. They cant physically list you for the jumpseat on thier system, but by putting you on their priority list, the gate agent will switch it when you you show up. This is how I do it, and I use Eagle and AA every week.

Hope this helps.
