Anybody know if SWA (and any others) is taking offline jumpseaters in the cockpit yet? I was reading the other jumpseat thread, but found no clear answer. I know I posted this under Interviews - Majors, but I didn't think this would get much attention anywhere else. Thanks a bunch.

Not yet.

Right now, SWA does not take offline pilots in the cockpit as jumpseaters. In the cabin, but not the cockpit.

Hopefully, the test program that allows ATA carriers to take other ATA pilots in the cockpit as jumpseaters will happen soon, but it isn't in place at this time.

Bummer

Travel on Tuesday is going to be pretty tough with the flights being oversold. Thanks for the info though.
