Was looking for any info on Jumpseating out of ANC to GUM.? I'm heading out to GUM in the end of Jan. and was hoping I could just jump a freighter ANC to NRT and then Jumpseat or ZED NRT to GUM on Northwest or Continental..?
Anyone done this or have any info?
Apparently, Polar, Atlas, Kalitta, and Southern will take international jumpseaters, but UPS and Fedex will not..?
Thanks in advance
Tatoosh

There are plenty of daily flights from NRT-GUM on Air Mic and Northwest. The loads usually aren't too bad either so I don't see much of a problem. What date are you looking to travel on?

Looking to travel on the 26th or 27th..but I believe that Cont. Air Mic. does not allow international jumpseaters..? Is this correct?
So I was thinking that HNL might be the other option. HNL to GUM is not considered an INT flight. At least thats what I remember.

You could ride a Zone fair from NRT to GUM on Air Mic or Northwest though. HNL to GUM is extremely difficult. Even on a vacation pass, I typically cannot fly GUM to HNL on my own company. You could always try HNL-GUM and if you don't make it, fly HNL-NGO-GUM. Nagoya is typically WIDE open from HNL. It's so wide open we are cancelling the service at the end of March '08. Drop me a PM when the date gets closer and I can check the loads for ya.
