8-10% pay cut? Not going to happen. Talk to anyone on the MEC, or Negotiating Committee.

What numbers have you been hearing? Are you implying it'll be more or less than 8-10%

That is only if you agree to back-concessions.

Well, lets say you finally got the company to sign your new contact that they drug their feet over for a year. You would want your pay to be retroactive to the expiration of the old contract, right?

Don't count on the company letting you keep a dime extra.

Gott it on good word that it will be 0% paycut. Rather it will be a reduction in LONGEVITY. A much better deal as the payrates remain untouched. Once a rate is reduced, it is VERY difficult to increase it. I was told it would be a 1 year reduction in longevity (equal to a 3% reduction) and a whole host of QOL items. Pay will be okay, but you better like workin.

FO

FO...most of your coworkers work more than the 1-2 hours a day that you work. :)

lets hope its something similar to the Comair results...that would mean pay raises........seriously...it would.....

On a similar note!

Just got word today in the training department and from crew planning, that the Avro Reduction/Realignment Notice is being postponed. There is still no Avro flying in MEM for June. The bid packages are out, and only have three lines for each seat in the AVRO. That means 6 lines or flying for over 60 pilots, over 90% of the pilots will be on reserve.

There is only one reason for the company to idle these pilots, when we're parking airplanes and losing flying...they don't want multiple training events, because more flying is coming.

Therefore hold the line. Someone must start doing it!
