I did a search, not much recent info. Can anyone help with pax or cargo operators that allow JS to EZE. I will be traveling around May. ORD would be perfect, what loads to expect from AA or UAL, etc. Freighter would not be bad either. Don't care, just want to go. Thanks in advance.

I think CAL recently started IAH-EZE, plus DAL flies ATL-EZE as well. They both fly 767s with 2 JS. If you are in their int'l jumpseat list you should have no problem riding with AA, UAL, CAL or DAL.

AA has 2 flts a day from MIA and one from JFK and DFW.
I don't think you can sit in the actual jumpseat on an Int'l flight though..
have to have a seat in the back available.

AA does not allow international jumpseaters as a rule of thumb, although occassionally they will let that slip. The best thing for you to do would be to buy a handful of ZED fares. They are interchangeable between airlines and refundable if you don't use them.

If you have trouble getting to EZE go to SCL and hop on a Lan Chile flight from scl-eze (about $40us zed fare).

Airlines flying to BA are UAl, DAl, AA, LanCHile, Aerolineas Argentina, and Cal.

From what I hear the food is pretty bad and the women are real ugly in Buenos Aires. Very expensive down there too....

I would like to second that, may want to hop on a ferry and visit Montevideo, Uruguay. Much cheaper, but dirtier and scarier. Real Latin America. But it's only a two hour ferry ride.

Ua is the way to go. js on them out of iad or ord. loads are usually ok. delta is full most of the time. in bsas talk to Alejandro in ua he knows the drill. pm me for more info....i do it all the time

Get the ZED's on AA.

Last year about this time tried to go UAL EZE to IAD as well as ORD. Plenty of seats open...lady comes down and tells us none of the non-revs were getting on.

Don't forget about cargo! 767's on some of the longer flights will have weight restrictions and the standby cargo will be on that flight before you are.

I left all the non revs from both flights looking lost while I waltzed over to the AA counter and burned my $101.00 backup ZED to MIA.

Not true, if your airline is on AA's int'l jumpseat list, you *will* be able to j/s to BA as long as there's space in the back. (can't sit in the actual j/s on int'l.)

well with my airline we are not allowed to jumpseat international on AA. I've tried several times and looked at our jumpseat agreement which stated that it is only allowed domestically. Probably different agreements with different airlines.

Make sure you get a the visa for your passport.

UA does it out of JFK and they will let ya

This might sound crazy but isn't there more things to do then woman and beer?

I don't know....maybe......?

Seriously though, I was being sarcastic above when I said the food was bad and the women are ugly. Buenos Aires is famous for terrific food and gorgeous women. Of course, as psyicx aptly points out, there is more to life than food and women....Argentina also has great skiing, hiking, climbing, fishing, etc.

hey dude...IM me..I go there once a month..maybe twice
P.S. all the stuff you heard about Argentina...its all a lie
the food sucks..ladies are par...and people rude....sorta
don't want to mess up a good thing.

Make sure you roam around Buenos Aires with a George W Bush shirt or cap.
And when they ask you where are u from tell them: America! the best!!!

Ba

Once down there take a leisurely stroll down Nuevo de Julio and stop at "Excetra" for a cafe con leche and some local sight seeing.

UPS goes there as well.
