John Deere or Legacy?

I have been thinking about purchasing a John Deere ride-on mower- but have recently heard that a Legacy 650 might be cheaper in direct operating costs?

I know a Legacy will be slower but any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.

PS Does the Legacy have a grass clippings mod?

I disagree - if he buys it I might be able to pick it up "used" in a year or so... As a matter of fact, buy two - the economy could use some "real" stimulus...
