Vice President Joe Biden says you should avoid both planes and subways.
Biden made his comments during a brief interview on NBC's "Today" show during an interview with Matt Lauer.
Vice President Joe Biden, called the closing of the Mexican border "a monumental undertaking'' and not an effective means of combating the spread of swine flu, offered his own personal prescription today: Stay off airplanes and subway trains.
The vice president said if one person sneezes on a plane "it goes all the way through the aircraft."

The administration has talking points to use the H1N1 name instead of using the term "Swine" Flu. The pork industry is trying to avoid a massive sales loss.

So im thinking Biden should have said avoid the high speed metal tubing industry vs. dont fly. Its apparent he isnt on the same page as the rest of the administration. People need to use common sense!!!!

But amtrak is still ok to ride on..... It's a freaking flu virus. This is not 1918 people...

It's the triumph of liberal politics over economics. Throw the airlines under the bus but don't stop the flow of disease across the border.

It is okay to close the schools though - we don't want to spread disease.
