Beyond that most of the 135 work is pay for training, training contract, or daily pay. Not a very good working environment for pilots. Too many pilots that will work for free down here and few jobs. A lot of new 135 jet startups that want pilots to finance their ratings and work on contract status
I am not sure about Miami Air. My buddy who used to work for them just got furloughed along with a bunch of other 737-800 FO's.
