Jobs in KC??

Anyone know of any jobs/operations in the Kansas City area? I will be furloughed from Delta November 1st. I have corporate/charter background and would be willing to sign a contract. I don't expect to be back to Delta any time soon anyway.
Any help would be appreciated.

Any reason you are looking in the KC area? You currently live there? If so, you should know where to look. If not...here is some info.

From what I have heard, none of these companies are hiring. They probably will take resumes...however, with TWA and Vanguard layoffs putting at least 500 pilots in the area out of work....I would say....take a number. This is unfortunate, but true.

I know for a fact that a few of the above companies get at least 10 qualified resumes a week from local pilots! These companies are getting very tired of being bothered by furloughed pilots....and most of the time shred your resume the minute you walk out the door.

Sorry I couldn't give you more uplifting info....this is just what I have observed over the past year.
