We went into JFK for the first time a few months ago in a midcabin jet around 7pm and the ground controllers were awesome to us. Maybe we got lucky or whatever, but my only complaint about it was the lack of a real FBO. Looks like that's been taken care of.

They had a TV in the lounge area as of last week. The best part was that it wasn't tuned to CNN, FOX news, the Military Channel, etc. It was on HDNet with a concert playing, a welcome relief from the usual crap. Can't comment on the fuel servicing since we were a drop and go.

Just one thing I've seen messed up a couple of times from others... If you're taking off 31L on the Carnarsie departure... make sure you turn left and not Right or straight out too far.. It messes with LGA approaches and they tend to get a bit more pissed about that mistake than any other.

Saw a Dash 8 turn right..he almost got the "call this number"

and believe it or not a couple former co-workers (retired Major airline guys...nearly 60 years of Major airline experience in the cockpit of a light jet) accidently turned right and got violated.

About the only thing I've ever seen going into or outta there....Well besides Air France always f^CKING something up.
