The major news is that JetBlue will be entering the regional jet market. Starting mid 2005, JBLU will start receiving its first of 100 new Embraer 190s. Delivery schedule is 8 years. These jets will enhance our existing markets and enable new point-to-point routes.

Great opportunity for wannabe Jet Blue pilots out there...

Wouldn't be a bad thing to fly two of the most advanced aircraft out there. EMB-190 looks like a cool airplane - nice Primus flight deck!

Nice to see some growth in this business beyond the regional carriers...

Last night on CNBC CEO Dave Siegal stated that if he had JBLUE's labor costs he'd be profitable. I laugh today b/c I'm sure CEO Neelman was thinking "when JBLUE has U's business plan you won't have to worry about profitability, you simply will be gone." U's plan to compete with SWA and JBLUE has been depolyment of RJ's, specifically the 190, I wonder what Siegal is thinking today.
