Does Jetstream 32 (16204 lbs) time count towards the PIC Turbine requirement? It's kind of vague. I have over 2000 hours in jets over 150K but all of my PIC turbine was in the 32. Thanks.

I quote from the jetBlue web site.
"Minimum Qualification:

1500 hours total time in airplanes (excluded: Helo, Sim, F/E time)*

1000 hours turbine in airplanes*

1000 hours PIC ( Jetblue considers PIC as being primarily responsible for the aircraft)

1000 hours in airplanes over 20,000 pounds (max take off weight)*

FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certification.

Recency of flight experience will be considered.

Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate

FCC Radio License

Current Passport

Vision corrected to 20/20

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.A.

Able to pass a 10-year security background check and a drug test"

I don't see anywhere that says you have to have 1000 turbine PIC over 20K. In fact, it now says 1000 PIC... no mention at all of turbine. With that said, turbine PIC will make you more competitive.

My 1000 turbine was also in the J-32, and my 20000 pound time was a combination of PIC and SIC.

It says pilot time for the 20K+ requirement. It does not matter if it was PIC or SIC.

As for the J32 time for PIC turbine. It's good.
