Net $30mil on an operating profit of $94mil.

10.1% margin

Earnings .10/share - beat estimates of .08/share.

Growth 6-8% for 2010. Adding another two E190's and six A320's this year.

They pay for them with labor efficiencies from the new pilot work rules.

Lower healthcare benefit costs!!!!! That will save some cash!!!!!! Someone said it best when they equated JB to the Walmart of the industry in terms of pay/benefits.
 
Um, I'm not really enamored of many things going on here right now, but Walmart of the industry in terms of pay? Really?
 
I don't think there are too many companies in the US that are immune to the rising cost of healthcare and don't pass some of that cost on the employees. Maybe we can get the government to get us all free healthcare. If we can just get "Helicopter" Ben to fire up the printing presses, we can give all Americans free healthcare.
 
And Health care is just the tip of the iceberg. The real boogie man hiding in the shadows is our disability benefits. Nothing like being forced to buy Cobra if you are out for more than 6 months... and being terminated from health care all together at the 24 month (I think that's the right number) point.
