All discussion about recent JBlue goings-on aside, I just wanted to get an electronic 'show of hands' of who is still out there waiting on word (job offer/class assignment).
- Just trying to get some idea...thanks in advance...

Also- if anyone knows updates on class dates planned & numbers they need- please chime in.

Hiring 104 to 190 and 68 to the Bus in first 6 months, classes every two weeks somewhere around 20 per class. For what it is worth I was in phase 2 for 13 and a half weeks. If you have anyother questions just PM

I'm in for Jan 9. class.

What do you guys recommend for preparation before class starts? Becaucse I know I will not be the smartest guy in the class.

Thanks and happy holidays.

Nothing.......just hang out enjoy the first couple of days and then after that start studing once you get their. Otherwise take advantage of happy hour.

Make sure your personal life is in order and it can operate on autopilot for about 5 weeks. That's it.

The training is routine for anybody that's ever done 121 training before. In my experience it required a bit more self motivation than the training programs I was used to. So what. This is supposedly the big leagues now so we should be up to the task without a lot of handholding. OTOH, the training staff will bend over backwards to help you if you have any questions or if you stumble, but you have to ask or they assume you are doing fine. Better than some, worse than others. There's no gotchas and very, very little memorization of limitations and crap. Don't sweat it. Suit up, show up, cooperate, graduate. Welcome aboard.

PS: Bring beer money. You're gonna need it.

There is no bookwork you need to do before you show up. I was probably the biggest retard in my class... except for 82spukram. He likes to sniff glue.

What everyone else has said is right on. I would add these suggestions: Bring your car if you can. Don't put your usual lifestyle on hold for this. In my case, I still found time to workout, play a little golf, drink beer and watch football. Try to eat good... too much Hooters will send you running out of Indoc hoping the bathroom is empty! :)

Have fun, and welcome!

I miss the group training symposiums on the basketball court! I call it "superhero training!"
