For those who get the call to join the Blue team, what pay can they expect during training? Min guarantee or a flat fee training pay? Is per diem also paid while in training? I imagine single occupancy hotel is paid by company, right?

What hotels do they put new hires in?

Also, how long does training last?

Thanks for the info!

Rumor I heard was a flat rate pay and no per diem. Sorry I asked...

Its been several years, but in 2006 they paid $2500 per month. The hotel was very nice and included a nice breakfast. I think it was a Renaissance Hotel. No perdiem but the beer was very cheap in the bar. Yvonne, the bartender, took very good care of us.

was the same in '07. We were in the Hawthorne Suites. Almost a full kitchen there. FREE happy hour. I think they make you show a room key or something now. We used to sneak in on layovers....damn.

Apparently they moved the free happy hour to the front galley... includes a ride on the slide....:D

I know, I know, classless....;)

nice.

I'm actually curious where we will host the new hire parties. Used to be at Bennigan's on 436. It closed over a year ago. They had the perfect outdoor bar/hangout area.
