Dave sold about 100,000 shares last 2 months, about
$1,000,000 per month.
At that rate he can only continue for 6 years before he is out of shares...don't you love the airline business!
Oh i forgot he was only making $1 per year.. for the talk shows.

the sale of his stock is set up on a spacial executive continuous sale program.

that means he, and other execs with privilege information from any other publicly traded company, set up an automatic stock sale of a number of shares over a pre-determined period of time.

Why shouldn't he reap the rewards of his efforts ? entrepreneurs start companies to make money.

he had a big portion of his wealth tied on JB stock, any moron would sell some and diversify.

again, he is not selling on a based on inside info, but on a pre-determined schedule, and he is not selling all his shares on that schedule.

The rats are grabbing for the life vests...

He's sold about 200,000 in the last 2 months, but still owns about 8,000,000 shares. I wouldn't call that grabbing a life vest.

Also, David Neeleman is no rat, he hasn't taken a salary in several years. He has made his money in cooperation with his employees, not at the expense of them.

RACE#53,

He also sold aprox. $27,000,000 worth earlier this year. He must have needed the money to pay for that house in Conn. I think it is great. If you don't like it, go start your own airline and let's see how you do!

Everyone please read the above quote. Snowbum is dead on. He is not selling because he needs the money, he is not selling because we are going out of business, he is not selling because is thinks something is going to happen......ITS ALL AN AUTOMATIC SETUP...all done years in advance.

Snowbum, thanks for the good, accurate info.
