I would say yes, definitely. The question is when. I would guess we are waiting until we can establish an international hub there. We have so many flights out of MCO that it would make sense to make it a base.
On the other hand I really enjoy the layovers. I'll be sad when a base takes those away, or the JB Lodge. I love being able to walk to Friday's, Roma's, Hooters, and especially the Ale House - my second home down there.
Too many bad memories from training, please make it stop...
I cringe every time I see the triple MCO in open time.
Yeah training kicked my ass. I ain't that smart though. The Ale House was a second home and what I call a "comfort station" for a bunch of us. Lots of drink specials, cheap food, and an outdoor deck. It's worth the walk.
I agree with that!! But love MCO!! send me your trips!!

What was so bad down in MCO for you?
I think he's just talking about the training process, not Orlando itself. I ain't no rocket surgeon and the 320 training kicked my ass pretty good.
I knew he wast talking training; hence my question.
What was it. The training program ityself, the horrible sked's and million changes, the annoying cumbaya; everything is OK deal, instructors, sims, what?
Other than that, I believe is an easy ride, whether you have experience or not.

I live here, and it "aint" that bad. The part i can't stand is the slow takeover of our spanish speaking friends. I wonder what the troops who come back from iraq think of the billboard ads written in spanish around here?

The only people that like Florida are those that have never been to San Diego. San Diego is just like Florida minus the mosquitos, hurricanes, daily thunderstorms and humidity. Plus in SoCal you can ski in the morning and surf in the afternoon. The real difference though is that there aren't any In-n-Outs in Florida. That's alone makes SoCal better than Florida.
Back to the topic. MCO will happen sooner or later. My guess is late '08.

Except the COL in Florida is about 1/2 that of San Diego. I always though In-n-Out was overrated anyway.
