Eaglefly when I was over at ACA prior to the bain report we collectively never thought that United would terminate or flying contract. We were a good performing company and were just too big and important for United to replace. Well needless to say we weren't really that important as history has shown. American Eagle could lose all that flying in a heartbeat so don't get to smug and comfortable.

Here is an answer to the thread...as of Friday.
Interviews for April 25th are full, more planned in June.
#s that I have heard are 200 down from approx 350.

Not smug, just practical.

A spinoff to the shareholders keeps Eagle's books private and away from an AA BK too, should that occur. Make no mistake, Eagle will lose some flying to others, but one of AMR's sale conditions is at least a 5 year feed contract for AA and reportedly a lot of strings, which nobody wants.

The dynamics, market and economic conditions of our situation are markerdly different then what occured with UAL and ACA.

I'm curious about the math here. If EagleFly made 127k last year, and Airline Pilot Central has the correct top pay ($100/hr), then that's about 106 hours of pay/month. Can you really get that many hours at Eagle? If so, how...maybe there's a trick or two I can use at my carrier.

200 new hires large portion already hired.. This projection has been out for nearly 90 days.. End of Q3 of 07 we were projecting 300-350 new hires.. Attrition has stopped due to complete recalls and age 65 so the number was revised in January..

All Bus slots for 08 are accounted for.. All hiring for 08 will be in the 190
