JetBlue crazy is ******************************s like blue bayou buying all the rhetoric on the conference call today. According to blue bayou and leadership the PVC is responsible for the pilots not having a retirement solution.
What a joke.

Have you seen his shoes with the metal bits?

I have... far too many times.

However, from what I am hearing we are about to get a pilot only grooming and dress policy. And it may have some items in it that you are not in compliance with, I would be willing to bet that I am not.

I guess my point is to remember that when you point a finger you have three more pointing back at you. Or something like that...

We are all a little out of compliance I suspect. Whether it's a lanyard or chops. I have no problem with either as style has changed over the years. While I think the 21st century mullet, i.e. goatee, is retarded it is fashionable these days. The mustache, which has been the standard for centuries, screams child molester.
As far as his shoes go wearing boots with metal all over like a wannabe rockstar is over the line. I have no issue with a little white stitching on dress shoes as new styles are designed that way.
Although times have changed and styles have progressed a little there is a fashion standard and it's not hard to see what is professional or what is not.

I don't disagree in terms of general acceptability. But maybe my greater point is that if you or I want to not have to stand next to someone in a blue uniform who embarrasses us to be a JB pilot then we will have to have a defined policy greater than the general crewmember BlueBook, and that policy will have to be strictly enforced. My burns and lanyard may have to suffer...

The only pilots in America wringing their hands about "style" and "image" and "popular culture" are jetblue pilots.

WTF Over?

Oh for the love of Jesus... this coming from the guy who wins the ******************************-Post of the Year Award over on that Clayton Osbon thread:

"That man voted against ALPA. Just sayin."
