The debate rages about jumping ship at the regional between me and my friends. I for one think starting over at a company which I would not mind spending the rest of my career at is not a problem. The main thing is that I did the math and because of all the lifers at Mesaba (Pinnacle) I would be 55 before I held weekends off in MSP. There are so many that get blinded by a semi decent schedule and being based at home they are willing to put up with anything (sham bankruptcy, mergers where seniority is screwed for some and now possible concessions with another possible bankruptcy.

Some even say that they do not think that leaving has a "payoff" because the starting pay is low. I do not think that the regionals have a bright future. A great reason to go to a good company.
