F-111 full burner takeoff

As an old AF jet mech on F-4's, 15's and 16's, I'd have to ditto the ardvark.

There was a guy at my previous employer who was fond of making early mornings takeoffs at rural airports where he purposefully flew a "non-noise abatement profile" in a Lear 25 on the o'dark thirty organ flights.

"Wake up M_F_'s!"

...he would scream.

I think his mentality was if he had to be awake, then everyone should be. Such an irresponsible thing to do, but I still laugh about it when I imagine the ruckus that must of made with those two GE straight-pipe turbojets setting off all the car alarms in town.

It's strange how people build/move into homes next to an airport then complain about the noise!:crying:

Just as strange...... customers buying tickets and, according to the article, apparently having their flights intentionally diverted while the carrier in question plays political games. Then playing the denial game when confronted with evidence that something odd was going on.
