considering the current hiring and training pace at jet blue, coupled with the growth slow-down, does anyone have an opinion on how long would it take to:
1- go from interview to class date (lets say for an airbus)
2- be able to hold lgb.
and 3- upgrade in lgb.

I think the real question should be, will JetBlue even survive if several majors merge and continue to offer the "SAME" service for the "SAME" price as JB?

I think the street thinks it will help JetBlue (Look at the stock price). Lower capacity = higher fares. JetBlue has carved itself a nice niche in the Northeast and Florida. Any consoldation will only help the company thrive.

Oh man....here we go again. The countdown begins.

Same? I fell off my chair laughing at that one! LOL

So passenger X buys a ticket from city A to B. He or she gets online and goes to cheaptickets.com or whatever.

Delta $108.00
JetBlue $108.00
American $115.00
USAirways $109.00

And American has a better time arrival........

Who is passenger X going to pick?

Blue potato chips aint that cool, Budrow!

Good luck. Oh, and save this post and tell me I'm wrong in 36 months. $1000.00 says your management will be asking for $$ within 2 years. But hey, you fly for a major.... Right?
