Is it true that Jet Blue and Airtran takes all 135 pilots? Who could we contact to set up a reciprocating agreements with the pilot groups?

While I don't know the answer to your question, how would a 135 operator/pilot/crew be able to reciprocate for a 121 pilot? I'm all for giving guys rides in the back if seats are open (too bad my company isn't), but what would be the upside for the 121 guys?

Not meant as a flame, I just don't know the answer.

We are a scheduled 135 Pax operation, not "on demand" (AKA: Charter). I hope that answers your question. There are many 135 "airlines". No flame taken.

Thanks for the list. I do see a few 135's on there. So that does answer part of my question. Could you PM me the contact information for the jumpseat coordinator so we can send out an agreement for and visa versa. Thanks!

Thanks for the information. I have recieved and contacted JB's JS coordinator. I would also be interested in setting up an agreement with Air Tran. If Anyone has their JS coordinator's info would you be kind enough to PM with it. Thanks again.

So who are you then and is your schedule published in the OAG (Official Airline Guide)? If not, then how would it benefit any 121 scheduled pilot if he/she could not find one of your flights?

Guys from my last company (121 Regional) use to ride on a couple select 135 operators on a fairly regular basis. They had an ops phone number they could contact to get times and set everything up.

Taking a twin beech in the middle of the night might not be fun, but it gets you home.

Does anybody know if expressjets allow Part 135 to jump. Thank You

Booster,

Airborne Express was renamed ABX Air more than two years ago. ABX Air is CASS. There wasn't a CASS program when the airline was called Airborne Express.

I'll forward this to our jumpseat coordinator to see if he can get us updated on your list.

Regards...

Just because they don't have an oag schedule doesn't mean that they can't help commuters. we commuters have an uncanney way of finding rides home.
I am at a scheduled 121 carrier but very often I ride Airnet express home in the middle of the night. the hardest part of riding them was finding the right doors to open on the freight side of the airport in the middle of the night. Once I had that solved, my ride home now is smooth.

What i am trying to say is we should not exclude any one from our list as long they are in the industry. you never know when that one obscure chance is the ride that gets you home in time for your daughters championship ball game.
