Spirit goes to six daily FLL-SJU in November.

Apparently, Puerto Ricans preferred Spirit in the Florida/Puerto Rico market, as JetB quickly pulled out of FLL/PSE when faced with Spirited competition.

Guess those TV channels don't work too well down there.

Down there they call Spirit "JET A"

no, but the free movies do! Just like the ones to Aruba, etc.

Well I don't work for JB anymore, so I really don't need to defend them. But JetBlue flies to Puerto Rico out of JFK and MCO. Orlando's what, 3 hours north of FLL? And there are a lot more Puerto Ricans in south Florida vs. central Florida.

JB isn't furloughing, so maybe they're not doing so badly in the war for Puerto Rico?

Reminds me of the time a Spirit guy called me out about our contract. While I can take those musings from some airline folks, I can't from a Spirit guy.

Oh, I'm not f-in baby! As a matter of fact, I'm thinking of coming back. I sent Verna Kay a letter saying if I get my original seniority number back, I'll consider returning...but only if they buy me an MBA.

Now that's funny. I think she's a EVP now too.

When did Spirit stop flying nonstop between MCO and BQN? JetBlue does that twice a day.
