For those of us that interviewed on Nov 2nd/3rd, and made it to PHASE II, we know that our employment verifications are being done, but has anyone gotten class date offers yet?
(I've heard the Nov classes are filled, and the next class to be filled is a 190 class in Dec.. the next 320 class will be in Jan)

It's only been, what, less than three weeks since you interviewed? You have a few more weeks of suffering to go through yet. Good Luck

I interviewed OCT 28th last year, around the same time as you guys in the NOV 2nd interview. It took them until the 1st week in JAN to offer a class because of the holidays, vacations and general slowdown of getting the hiring board together around xmas and new years. I would give at lease 8 weeks before I start wondering. The MIL guys heard fairly quick but most of the CIV guys took 8-10 weeks.

Have not heard anything yet. I know all or most of my background check has been done but from what I hear it will probably be Jan. for those of us who interviewed on Nov 2nd. 4 to 8 weeks is pretty much the norm!

I interviewed Nov 2nd and do know that my current employer has been contacted. I also heard that they were considering a Dec class but decided against it.

I will have no hair left if I have to wait until Jan to hear anything!!!!

Good luck to all!!

Just over 2 weeks now since our Nov 2/3rd interviews. Background checks, PRIA, etc all complete, on my end. Although the 3 'Pilot References' have not been called yet. Any news anyone, anyone... anyone?
(yes, I know it could take the full 8 weeks :puke: )

It took almost 11 weeks for me to find out. I interviewed almost exactly a year ago and the hiring team was slow during the holiday process. I didn't find out until Jan 8th or so. Just hold on, but I personally was going crazy and drove my wife nuts too.

I personally had a NDR glitch that needed to be cleared up. I called HR at the 10 week point and asked if there were any problems. She said I was a YES except with the NDR item that needed to be researched. Ended up being a poorly written ticket, and when I presented evidence, I got the job offer right there on the phone.

Good luck.

I am not sure why it needs to take 8 to 10 weeks to let someone know they are hired. My buddy at F9 interviewed was hired and in class within 3 weeks. I have an interview with F9 Dec. 1st and if I don't hear something soon from JB they will leave me no choice but to go to F9 if I get the job offer first. Probably the only complaint I have with JB so far is the wait time in phase 2.

Maybe the wait is part of jetBlues hiring process. Afterall lets say you have 3 interviews out there or may be called back from ual or aa Maybe they deliberately draw it out to weed out those that may not be 100% committed to JB? Just a thought.

Right now I have a good job and don't mind waiting for JB to call

That's great and I agree somewhat, but phase 2 at JB does not mean that you are hired. I don't mind waiting 10 weeks for a class date but I would at least like to know that I have the job.

Yes I agree have a friend on the Hiring Committe

If you make it past Phase 1 you have the job 99% The only way you will not get it at that point is if you have something derogatory in your background checks.

I have heard only 2-3% is about average but I may be wrong.

I read this often but usually don't partcipate in the chat..Interviewed on November 02- Called today offered 190 class November 30. I turned it down and she said to expect a call in 3 weeks for January class. To those of u waiting u must thing I am an idiot but realy want the airbus and should give present employer 2 weeks notice after 10 years.

Congratulations!

Wanting to give your current employer two weeks, and waiting for the airplane you really want, are good reasons. Enjoy Thanksgiving and Chistmas, get your affairs in order (you'll be awayfrom home and busy for a while), and get ready to enjoy Orlando in January.

Thanks,Looking foward to spending the winter someplace warm and I am on vacation in December . After alll these years to hold a Christmas vacation I couldn't give it up!

Just got a call Monday for the class on the 30th of Nov. My interview date was Nov. 2. The week after Phase 1, the group that does the background check called to verify a company that I worked for that went ch. 7. I sent her my first/last paychecks of the company to verify the time period and she said she was finished with my check and she'd wished everyones was as easy as mine. Lucky I guess. Prior to the interview I told HR at my current employer that I was interviewing...she gave me some updated info for JB to contact and wished me luck. Really didn't think I'd be in class until January sometime.
Just flew my last trip, and have a week to prepare to go to MCO. Good luck to all.
