The JB application window opened Aug 7 and will close Aug 14. Internal email said all applicants must resubmit or update their info or will be dumped from the system. Good luck to all.

Hey $$$$$,

I have a buddy from Bean Town who is looking to get back there (and he believes Tom Brady was framed in deflategate :eek:). What is the likelihood that he could get BOS out of training and what would be the likely fleet assignment if he got BOS? I have heard BOS is heavy on E190s (which he would be happy to fly).

Thanks

BOS is junior so he would have no problem at all getting BOS directly out of training regardless of aircraft type. The airplane he is on would depend on his relative age in his class and what the company needed the day he starts training. That part of the equation is a complete crap shoot. It seems more 320 slots are available for new hires vs 190 just due to us recieving 1 320/month vs 0 190's. Brady may be guilty of deflating a ball a few PSI, but they would have won that game if the ball they used was flat. Good luck to your buddy.

Does JB hire mostly commuter folks? Any 135 or 91 pilots ever get a call?

They hire 121,135,91, military. Anything from a 402 from cape air to 747 drivers from Atlas. You name the pilot background and we hire them.

Don't forget to keep your resume up to date once you get here. The big three are hiring with better pay, benefits , work rules and retirement. This isn't a bad place to hang out while you wait.
