Asking for a friend who is waiting on the DB call,

If the calls are going out on Monday, why are people getting calls early. Is this normal for a trickle of guys to get the call early or is the Monday notification not true???

I have heard many guys get called on the Monday following in the past, so don't sweat it too much. Monday IS a work day at SWA.

FWIW. I talked to a friend that said the calls are broken up to a bunch of different people, (some pilots, some PD people) and that after his DB some people got called the day of the DB and others didn't get called for over a week. I read earlier in this thread that no calls were supposed to go out until Monday, but either that was just wrong, the callers didn't get that message, or the rule was more like a "should not call until Monday" and they did anyway. Regardless of that, the calls in the past have been spread out over a week apparently so no need to even consider giving up yet.

Got the call on Saturday from Mike Penn in Houston! Typed in Aug '04. Interviewed Nov '04.

Thank God. So, calls are going out- stay by your phones!! The Chicago CP left a message on my cell, then called my home phone. Said to expect May- June class at the latest. Best of luck to all those sitting by the phones today!
