Are calls going out yet for the Jan 11 decision board?

I'm sure after two days of reviews for November and December it might take a fews days to have those calls going out. That is what I've heard at least. I myself am in the same LUV boat waiting to find out how I did on the DB. Good luck to all.

I heard from a guy who heard from an interview captain that calls won't go out until Monday.

Good technique for the time being: binge drinking.

Got the Call!

I got the call today at noon saying that I passed the Decision Board. (Big sigh of relief) Then told to call SWA on Monday for more info. Best of luck to everyone!

For those of you waiting, I was told that calls would be going out week of 17 Jan. Don't get discouraged, it is just taking a little longer this time.

When I got my call from the Chief Pilot 4 years ago, I answered the phone and he said, "I would like to welcome you to SW" I said, "geez what took you so long I have been waiting my whole life." He just laughed.

Wish you all the best of luck, I dont know of a more trying time to find an airline job.

Got the call today, Saturday at 1530! I had just got back from the gym and was getting ready to drink many beers to keep from thinking about waiting through the weekend. I was not expecting calls over the weekend so this is truly a suprise!

Got the call today from Houston CP Mike Penn (I think that was his last name...couldn't quite make it out on the message). Call came at 1215 CST and I got the message after turning my phone on in SLC fresh off the flight from LAX for my PC. Being in a crowded airline terminal, I couldn't do what I WANTED to do (see above yelling). Since he's not in the office anymore today, I've gotta call him back first thing tomorrow morning! (BOY do I hope he wasn't just calling in order to save postage! LOL)

Congrats to everyone who got the call! You're getting here at a great time, I was at the training center this week and they're planning on 4 classes a month through April. It's going to be an interesting year, there are a lot of possibilities out there and we're going to be moving to take advantage of them.

Enjoy the next couple of months, you're going to be very busy very soon!
