Good discussion. I understand the issue better now.

I like Skull-One's comment. Sounds like a reverse "B" scale to me - the mainline people flying RJs at mainline pay, with the regional people degraded suddenly. That's unfair to the regional pukes, who might have more comparative seniority at their companies than the J4J mainline guys at their mainline. If I were a regional pilot in either seat, I'd be most unhappy.

As Skyking1976 said, maybe it would be somewhat palatable if the regional were owned by the mainline. Just the same, it still sounds like a lousy deal for regional pilots.

Skull is also correct about Mesa anyone not being paid much.
