I normally think Boyd is an idiot, but he is right on with that.

[FONT=Tahoma, Verdana, Lucida]Regardless, again, of the range of factors, reasonings, and arguments, the fact is that management at some carriers has feasted on the airlines' turnarounds, and in one case - United - has descended into what can only be described as an exercise in Robber-Baron 101. Labor isn't going to walk away from the table this time without some serious money. It's not going to fly as a bargaining tactic to claim that "we're all in this together" when United employees and retirees are in some cases having to sell their homes while the CEO and his inner circle are getting millions in various goodies.[/FONT]
