Sorry I can't remember the FAR off the top of my head. I was reading it earlier where it states that people can use things like an electric shaver and a few other select items. I don't fully understand why this reg exist. I've heard of items interfearing with instruments but I don't know any that actually pose a threat. Any history on these rules? I guess what throws me is the fact that the three things that make my TV blurry in the house are the blender, blowdrier, and my electric shaver. I asked a teacher once but he laughed and said he had no idea either. Can anyone humor me?

Yeah that

The answer is: because the lobbyists from Norelco and Remington pressured the FAA to exempt their devices.
