Canada. Any aircraft without a cockpit window that opens should be in Canada.

Can't say for sure, but the company blames it on Go!, both publically and internally. Load factors were pretty good initally, but dropped when the second aircraft failed to arrive in May (due to mismanagement, IMO) -- they planned on flying two planes on two lines, so they ended up selling seats that did not exist and had to fly random extra flights to accomodate the pax. Plenty of times the plane would fly with 37 people as they would only sell enough tickets to fill a -100, but then fly the Q400 on that line. They set it up to fail.

Anyway, N539DS is sitting along Lagoon drive, the ferry tanks are in, she leaves any day. Sad to see the fat lady go.

Leeme guess, ya'all got a SMOKIN deal on some more "slightly" used -100's.

They were planning on buying one more -100, but that has been cancelled. They've stopped hiring and the F word has been rumoured for a while now.

I saw one of our old PDT birds in 'Airliners mag.' flying for Island Air, believe it was 979HA. I like the paint job on your planes!
Good Luck....

That's the only real "good" airplane in the fleet. New paint, new leather seats (like the 400 had) and an APU! Can you believe it? A friggin APU! And it isn't MEL'd like the one in the 400......yet.

so whats all this talk about raving up the di-ice program? Is something about to breakthrough with "operation mainland fatasy"? I also heard that a class planed for Jan 07, what?! spill the beans, Rjp.

It will be soon, because you bofoons (400 trained guys excluded) can't seen to figure out how to operate it. Yes, it won't start after you do the fire test -- because the fuel vavle is closed -- like it's supposed to be... killing me cuz

Flight ops is not interested in fixing the checklist/FCOM so it might just end up deferred until they do.
