Is USAir going to come out of bankruptcy?

According to that link it looks like they will be around till at leastJune 30th, and hopefully will come out of bankruptcy completely

Reason I ask is because I need to book a PHL to LAX flight in may, andUSAir offers the best nonstop times for me. I was holding offbookingwith them as this is a trip I cannot afford to have complicated,but it appears now they will at least be around till June.

Should I book with USAir?...I always liked taking them, and would like to vote with my dollar that they stay in business.

There are a lot of people on this board who have a lot more riding on USAir's survival than whether or not they make their flight! Why don't you Go Greyhound- I'm sure they'll be around for sure in May.

Yeah I really ment to insult everyone. Given the number of threadsIhave read regarding people saying the airline will be dead byJanuary15th which came and went, I find your reply rediculous.

My intent is not to rub salt in the wound, but rather to get feedbackfrom people that know best. Maybe my wording was not the best, butmyintentions were pure.

I also wish the airline the best, as I have been a loyal flyer of USAir for many years.

They got it all together to get financing so they will be around until at least the end of june. Personally, I'm glad you are booking with them. That is the only way they can survive.

That is what I said to my wife before. We discussed aboutbooking, and Isaid I was worried about the travel arraingements, but if we don't bookwith them we are only making their situation worse. It's like the stockmarket...once one person pulls out,they all do, and that starts awindfall.

We'll we just booked 3 seats with them...I really hope they can make itthrought this, and wish the best for those employed by USAir.

I would think it is just good business to take advantage of their fare sales. Always pay for your tickets with a credit card, that way you are protected.
