Anyone ever hear of this outfit?

Southeastern Flight School in Macon, GA

Their website seems to guarantee 1500 total hours for the ATP course from start to finish in 10 months. Seems ABSOLUTELY impossible until you look closely and it say that you can only build this time (1500/200ME) with the completion of the CFI/CFII/MEI.

I'm reading this as: Pay us $39,995 and we'll let you work for us for FREE for over 1000 hours.

Anyone know if this is the SHAM is looks like?

My apologies if I'm misreading the offer, here. I plan to call and ask them on Monday. Thought I'd gather some info first.

Thanks.

Why not spend the $39,995 at UND, then add another $40,000 to it, and come away with the same thing plus a B.S. in a recognized university? As far as the part about flying for "free" for 1000 hours, would it be better to pay for aircraft rental, or buy an aircraft to build hours in? Just trying to see the ecconomics of it all. Inquiring minds want to know

For free or for $10/h is almost the same if you only fly 250-350h per year... if you think about it.

Actually I would opt for free in 10 months (which I know is a joke if they include training form zero… that alone is very hard in 10 months) than to make $10/h for 2-3 years because the sooner you are out of there the sooner you can apply for a 135 job and kill yourself to end your misery LOL... Anyways the next thing will be to pay for a CFI job to fly the mighty 152 LOL and log dual plugged. I am sure some people in the line waiting for their CFI slot at some big academies would cash out a few k to get going.
