I mean to denigrate no one in particular, yet, I do mean to indict everyone in general.

There are many more options, outside of "Aviation", that present more realistic opportunities as regards benefits and health care for a family.

It's out there.

- I have Private Health Insurance for LESS ( on a monthly basis ) than it cost me with any airline I have worked for.

- My Son just had over $1000.00 in Dental Work done via the State.

( And that is Pre-Obama. )

I hope everyone can find their way...I just hate to see the Industry become what it has.

Unfortunately, it is what it is, and therefore, it shall continue to be ....perpetuated on the backs of willing Slaves.

Slaves to an Ideal.

An Ideal that no longer exists.

A hope, a dream, and a wish.

Much like a relationship in decline between a Man and Woman...We hold on to that which we wish could be.

(P.S. - Any Chicks who Dig my sensitivity please call: 555-980-8869. I have New Age Music, Varietal Wines, and Macrame'. )

Good stuff.

With regard to the hopes and dreams stuff, I think guys as they get older eventually come to the realization that even when times are good, you are away from home A LOT (relatively speaking), living half of your life in a hotel is not ideal, commuting is tiresome, and the hustle and bustle of busy airports begins to wear on you. No amount of money takes that away.

In summary, eventually airline flying becomes a JAY-OH-BEE, just like any other occupation does when you HAVE to do it to support yourself and your family.

"A socialist hater taking government $ for personnal use...you are such a hypocrit(e)."

Actually, I prefer to view myself as an Old Dog who can learn new tricks.

Or, as someone who is able to use an "adapt and survive" strategy.

You see....After many years as a fiscally responsible, conservative Republican, living well below my means, I have seen the error of my ways and now embrace the concepts of personal and financial irresponsibility, Government hand outs, and liberal Social Democratic ideology.

Now, get to work and gimme' some mo' of yo' money....Sucka. I'm goin' to get some beer and steaks with my State Issued Debit card today ( no joke ) and I don't need fools like you slackin off and not contibutin' to The System.

Peace. Out.

"Spoken like a true Coors Light drinkin', headin' to the dump to do some rat shootin' man...."

Wait a minute...that is a compliment in MY book.

I am 100% serious, some of my favorite memories are going to the Litchfield Dump and shooting rats' with my Brothers and my Old man.

I also enjoy the finer light Beers...Busch light being my daily drinker. I find it crisp and refreshing, with just a hint of acidity and some delicate undertones.

I find the Coors Light a bit expensive for my taste, but have been known to flash a "Silver Bullet" during special occasions when I am trying to impress the Ladies.

But, you're right ...there is no need to call someone "Gay" just because they are in touch with their feelings, enjoy wine, and macrame'. Although I would tend to agree that those things are as close as you can get without actually stabbing the grumpy hole.

Ahhh...I do enjoy the comraderie and exchange of worldly thoughts and ideas that can only be found here on Flightinfo.com

Good day Sirs.
